I am Molly Banerjei, a proud Canadian of Indian descent, driven by an unwavering commitment to serve, uplift, and inspire. My life’s mission is to unite people, honor our shared heritage, and celebrate the values that shape our communities.

 

I am at the forefront of a transformative national movement to have December declared as Christian Heritage Month in Canada. This initiative seeks to recognize the profound contributions of the Christian community to the foundation and development of our nation. What began as a spark in May 2024, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, has ignited into a wave of unity and recognition. In just a few months, this movement has gained support from over 40 municipalities, two regions, and an entire province—a testament to what can be achieved through dedication, perseverance, and the power of community.

The key to my journey lies in my approach to life—led by a tenacious spirit, steadfast faith, and a heart that is kind, generous, and compassionate. I know how to be bold and audacious in pursuit of what is right. When I wrote to Prime Minister Trudeau, I made my request clear: “My request is simple. Yet profound. And I am not prepared to take no for an answer.” I firmly believe that “all things are possible for those who believe.” In everything I do, I am guided by the conviction that “His will can be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

 

My upbringing deeply shaped who I am today. My father, Mr. Kailash Samuel, was a renowned human rights lawyer who championed justice and community advocacy. My mother, an accomplished executive who chose to become a stay-at-home mom, instilled in me a profound sense of duty, commitment, and service. Their dedication left an indelible impression, inspiring me to serve with the same unwavering resolve.

 

My family is my greatest joy and strength. My husband, Jay Banerjei, is my cornerstone and best friend. His unwavering support, steadfast love, and shared vision make every step of this journey meaningful. Together, we share our lives with our two beloved puppies and Roman, a young man who was once homeless and alone. Roman now shares our home and hearts, completing our family with his presence and love.

 

Whether through real estate, community advocacy, media, or public initiatives, my mission is to be obedient to the Holy Spirit—to serve, inspire, and contribute to a nation where heritage, unity, and inclusivity are celebrated.

 

This is my calling. This is my commitment. This is my vision for a better Canada.
